At a close distance from Garitsa bay, among a verdant scenery, the traditional mansion Carpofoli awaits its visitors for a unique sojourn of relaxation and fun. Borrowing its name by the plant honeysuckle – carpofoli, as Corfiots traditionally call it – whose scent is dispersed throughout the rooms and balconies, this cute complex of houses oozes freshness just like its name defines.
Recently renovated by recycling materials used in the house in its previous state, Carpofoli is built with stone, handmade clay bricks, wood and steel, fulfilling all standards of a contemporary green property; with smarthome equipment for energy saving and being friendly to the environment, the house is the answer to modern utility, comfort and security in the use of equipment.
In the basement, Carpofoli features two apartments with independent entrances, which accommodate up to four people each and have access to a beautiful garden, full of trees and vegetation. Corners of pause, decorated with stone, are there for you to enjoy your breakfast, relaxing moments with some light reading or your evening drinks to the sound of running water coming from the pool.
On the first floor, two more apartments can accommodate up to six people each. A cute and spacious wooden staircase leads to the attic where a large kitchen and a comfortable living room with TV set await for some quality time indoors. East and west verandas are featured for the visitors to let off steam in the afternoons or even indulge in some stargazing during the dark hours.
All four apartments are equipped with Elite mattresses and mattress toppers, whose quality can satisfy every taste and need when it comes to comfort, as well as with Cannon duvets which provide a unique sensation of lightness for anyone wishing to unburden his mind of everyday stress.
On the entrance of Carpofoli’s parking, a 100-year-old carriage, amonippoas called in Greek, completes the scenery. Found in the property’s barn, once used as a means of transport and commercial vehicle, the carriage now welcomes the visitors standing under two old mulberry trees, filled with blossomed geraniums.
Following our Greek traditions of warm welcoming, the visitors will be greeted with some Corfiot wine and other local products.
At a close walking distance from Carpofoli, the light blue waters of Anemomilos and Mon Repos wait for anyone wishing to take a swim. Old Corfu Town with its beautiful gardens and vivid nightlife is also nearby.
We will be glad to greet you to our own beautiful paradise, our Carpofoli.
